DOWSIL 995 Silicone Structural Glazing Sealant is a high-performance, one-part, neutral-cure silicone specifically engineered for structural bonding in curtainwall, glass façade, and protective glazing systems. Upon cure, it forms a tough, flexible elastomer with exceptional mechanical strength and long-term weather resistance, enabling secure adhesion between glass and metal under demanding environmental and structural conditions.
With laboratory-verified structural performance, DOWSIL 995 provides excellent unprimed adhesion to coated, anodized, and polyester-painted aluminum, reflective glass, and fluoropolymer finishes such as Kynar®. The cured sealant delivers high tensile strength, ±50% movement capability, and outstanding resistance to UV, ozone, high humidity, and temperature extremes, ensuring durability over decades of building service life.
DOWSIL 995 complies with major global standards for silicone structural glazing and has been performance-tested for protective glazing applications. Its non-corrosive, odorless curing characteristics and compatibility with automated or manual dispensing equipment make it suitable for both in-plant factory glazing and field installation. Available in multiple packaging sizes for production-scale glazing operations.
