Deck Mix AE is single component high slump, shrinkage compensated concrete mix. Deck Mix AE features air entrainment with special cements, aggregates and an integral corrosion inhibitor to protect reinforcing steel. Additional admixtures allow for easy placement and increased bond strength. Air entrainment gives AE excellent durability and freeze thaw resistance. Packaging: 80 lb bags – 42/ pallet
APPLICATION: Add potable water to AE at a rate of 3.25 quarts per 80lb bag. Use normal mechanical mixer appropriate for mixing concrete with a coarse aggregate. Mix this with measured water for no more than 3 minutes. Pre-dampen substrate to a surface saturated, dry condition with clean water for a good bond. No special curing is required.
