DOWSIL SGS 121 Kit

DOWSIL 121 Structural Glazing Sealant is a fast-curing, two-part, neutral-cure silicone sealant designed for both structural glazing and weatherseal applications. It provides exceptional adhesion, durability, and flexibility across a wide range of substrates, including anodized and alodine aluminum, coated glass, and previously applied DOWSIL™ structural sealants—making it ideal for reglazing and repair work.

Engineered for quick strength development, DOWSIL 121 achieves structural adhesion in 24–48 hours under standard conditions, enabling faster production turnaround and reduced downtime. It exhibits excellent mechanical properties, including high tensile strength (300 psi), durable elasticity, and movement capability of ±25%.

The cured sealant offers outstanding resistance to UV exposure, ozone, heat, humidity, and weathering, ensuring long-lasting performance in demanding exterior environments. With odorless, non-corrosive curing, it’s well-suited for both in-shop and on-site use without special heating or extended curing requirements.

Applications include storefront systems, panel stiffener attachment, in-field reglazing, and on-site structural glazing where speed and reliability are critical. Supplied in convenient dual-cartridge kits, it mixes easily with static mixers and dispenses smoothly using standard pneumatic tools. The product is compliant with ASTM C1184 for structural sealants and ASTM C719, Class 25 for joint movement, ensuring consistent, tested performance in architectural glazing systems.
