Product Description: PREPRUFE 275 LT membranes are sophisticated composite sheets designed for blindside waterproofing applications involving cast-in-place concrete or shotcrete foundations and slabs. These membranes feature a multi-layer construction comprising an HDPE film, an aggressive pressure-sensitive adhesive, and a weather-resistant protective coating. Utilizing patented Advanced Bond Technology™, the PREPRUFE® 275 and 275 LT membranes deliver exceptional performance by forming a continuous and integral bond to concrete or shotcrete, effectively resisting water ingress and migration between the membrane and the structural elements.

Product Applications: PREPRUFE 275 LT membranes are specifically formulated for blindside waterproofing in shotcrete walls as well as cast-in-place concrete structures under intermittent water and low or no hydrostatic conditions. For projects that demand higher durability under hydrostatic and critical conditions, the PREPRUFE SCS blindside waterproofing system is recommended to ensure long-term performance.

System Components and Installation:

• Ancillary Components: The system includes PREPRUFE Tape and CJ Tape for detailing and ensuring watertight seals at construction joints, along with BITUTHENE® Liquid Membrane and ADCOR® Waterstop to enhance sealing around penetrations and joints.
• Membrane Application: The membrane is rolled out and applied with the HDPE film side against the substrate, using the adhesive ZipLap™ seams to ensure fully adhered, watertight overlaps. The installation process benefits from the adhesive-to-adhesive contact, which secures the membrane even in vertical applications or challenging environmental conditions.
• Temperature and Substrate Requirements: PREPRUFE 275 LT is suitable for application in temperatures ranging from 25ºF to 95ºF, making it versatile for different climatic conditions. All substrates must be stable, smooth, and free from gaps larger than 0.5 inches to ensure effective application and bonding.

Storage and Handling: The membranes should be stored in dry conditions between 40°F and 90°F and protected from rain and ground moisture. Proper storage and handling ensure that the membranes maintain their efficacy and are ready for use when needed.
