Sika Drainage Mat 420 features a high-flow, dimpled polypropylene core that is heat-bonded to a non-woven polypropylene filter fabric on the top side and a protective polyethylene membrane on the bottom. This unique construction allows the mat to retain soil, sand, or other fine particles, while the filter fabric permits water to pass into the drainage core efficiently. The impermeable bottom layer serves to protect waterproofing membranes like RoofPro and Sikalastic-320 NS/SL from mechanical damage and water ingress.
