Probably the biggest selling point of Dymonic FC Tremco Sealant is that it cures extremely rapidly, making it a good choice in most circumstances where time is of the essence.  It has a skin time of only 60 minutes and only takes 3-4 hours to become tack-free.  This doesn’t only speed up construction and help seal joints which may be difficult to hold in place, but it also reduces the amount of dirt attracted by the sealant during curing.

• High flexibility

Another major benefit to this Tremco sealant is its high degree of flexibility.  Its movement capability of ± 35% allows it to be utilized in situations where large amounts of movement can be expected, without compromising its seal.  Better yet, it also will not green crack due to early movement, further expanding the number of applications where its quick-cure properties will be beneficial.

• Adheres to a wide variety of materials

Combining the best traits of both silicone- and polyurethane-based sealants, Dymonic FC Tremco Sealant can be utilized in numerous situations, such as expansion joints, windows, doors, and panels.  It can adhere to concrete, masonry, aluminum, and even vinyl siding, among other materials.

• Priming (usually) not necessary

In most situations, Dymonic FC Tremco Sealant can be used directly on a clean surface, without the need for priming – although there are a handful of exceptions, such as some types of anodized aluminum.  This ease of use can substantially speed up construction, saving money on-site.
