AP Adhesive is used as a component of Dryvit EIF systems to bond EPS to recommended substrates in accordance with published EIF system specifications and application instructions. It is also suitable for adhering EPS to metal surfaces in limited areas such as, steel lintels, metal flashing, etc. and for adhering drainage accessories in Dryvit moisture drainage systems. AP Adhesive is acceptable for use
as a component of the Dryvit Fedderlite Panel System.

APPLICATION:                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Cut the smallest opening possible in spout (just large enough so adhesive can flow easily when gunned). Because of AP Adhesive’s unusual strength, much less adhesive is needed compared to traditional EIFS adhesives. It is intended to be applied in thin beads [approximately 3/8 in (9.5 mm)]. The beads are typically spaced 12 in (305 mm) on center. When adhering to rough surfaces, use enough adhesive to fill
gaps. AP Adhesive will bridge gaps up to 3/8 in (9.5 mm). Drying time may vary, depending on the humidity and the porosity of the materials bonded. Materials may be repositioned up to 1 hour without losing adhesive strength. Drying time may vary, depending on the porosity of the materials bonded and environmental conditions.

SURFACE PREPARATION:                                                                                                                                                                                                      To ensure positive adhesion, make sure the surfaces joined together are clean and free of dirt and
foreign material.

CLEANUP:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                Clean all tools immediately after use with a dry cloth.
