HML 5000 GC:
Sikalastic HLM 5000 GC is a cold applied, one component waterproofing membrane that delivers durable, seamless protection for below grade and between slab applications. Based on bitumen-modified polyurethane, this elastomeric product cures with ambient moisture to form a flexible membrane that resists cracking, water penetration, in addition to a wide range of environmental challenges. It adheres to concrete, plywood, and incidental metal, thus making it a versatile choice for foundations, walls, planters, balconies, and parking structures.
Easy to use:
Being designed for easy application, Sikalastic HLM 5000 GC doesn’t need mixing or hot melt equipment as well as being able to be applied to damp surfaces and freshly poured concrete (after 72 hours or 24 hours post formwork removal). Moreover, it accommodates movement thanks to its elastomeric flexibility and excels in going over static cracks. The system is available in both standard and high-build formats, with coverage customized to meet project specific demands.
Durable:
Once cured, it provides excellent resistance to chemicals, UV light, and harsh weather, while eliminating seams and laps typical of sheet applied membranes. Because it is compatible with reinforcement fabrics, drainage composites, and protection boards, Sikalastic HLM 5000 GC forms a key component of comprehensive waterproofing systems. It meets ASTM C 836 standards and offers low VOC content (53 g/L), making it usable in managed environments. This product’s high-build system allows for a two layer application for maximum durability. Meanwhile, the standard system works for most vertical and horizontal installations.
