Surface Preparation:

– Concrete: Ensure the concrete is structurally sound, fully cured (28 days), clean, and prepared as per ICRI Guideline no. 310.2 for proper bonding.

– Reinforcing Steel: Remove oxidation and scale from the exposed reinforcing steel following ICRI Technical Guideline No. 310.1R.

1. Precondition all components to 70°F (21°C) and thoroughly stir each liquid component before mixing.

2. Pour Part A and Part B into a clean mixing bucket, blend for 2 minutes, and slowly add all of Part C. Properly mix using a Jiffy paddle and a drill.

– Bonding plastic concrete to hardened concrete.

– Coating steel rebar for reliable corrosion protection.

– Ideal for areas where short open times prevent the use of traditional epoxies.

Suitable for use on concrete and steel surfaces.

Apply using a stiff-bristled broom or sprayer, ensuring thorough penetration into the substrate. Apply at a rate of 20 wet mils (0.5 mm). For rebar, two coats of 10 mils (0.25 mm) each are required. Protect the bonding agent from direct sunlight and temperatures above 95°F (35°C).

Clean up with soap and water. For dried material, mechanical removal is necessary.

– Maintain substrate and ambient temperature between 40 to 95°F (4 to 35°C).

– When used for overlays or toppings, top within 6 hours of applying MasterEmaco P 124 for best results.

– For other applications, including form and pour applications, it will bond to cementitious materials placed within 24 hours of application.

– Avoid adding any solvent, water, or other materials to the product.
