Vulkem 351 NF is a composite waterproofing system comprised of tough curing liquid polyurethane.  It cures to form a rubber membrane surface that provides a lasting and easy-to-clean coating. Textured surfaces for pedestrian traffic will use an aggregate top membrane to aid in wear and slip resistance. Vulkem 351 may be used to apply a seamless, monolithic waterproof membrane to concrete and primed metal surfaces.

Vulkem 351 NF is the top coat used in the Vulkem 350/351 pedestrian and waterproofing system. It is a single-component, aliphatic polyurethane top coat that goes over the Vulkem 350 base coat to create the finished wearing surface. When used with the recommended aggregate, it forms a tough, skid-resistant finish that is made to handle pedestrian traffic while also helping protect the waterproofing system below.

This top coat is made for applications like plazas, recreation decks, balconies, mechanical rooms, stadiums, athletic surfaces, and other pedestrian areas that need a durable waterproofing system. It is designed to create an attractive, easy-to-clean surface while also giving the system good durability, UV resistance, and long-term wear performance. The technical sheet also notes that the system has a fast cure, allowing use 24 hours after installation.

Vulkem 351 NF bonds to the Vulkem 350 base coat to create a strong interlaminate bond and a finished membrane surface that holds up well in service.
